Lord of the drinks – powai

The newest chapter of the successful Lord of the Drinks is now open at the prime location of Delphi Building in Hiranandani, Powai. The place is well-poised to become the next hottest party destination for those who stay or workaround that area.

The interiors are lit quite literally. There are some quirky elements added to the interiors of the place. For example, the forearm and palm-like pillar supporting the bar area, and appears to really “raise the bar“. The innovative shapes of the glassware also caught my attention, especially the ones shaped like a fish. That made me almost drink like a fish from it

The drinks and the food menu are almost familiar if you have been to their Lower Parel and the Andheri locations. I would highly recommend their Galactic G&T though. Classy and refreshing.

Sporting the longest bar in Asia – 200 ft, the bar counter and walls, with the burst of colours interspersed with black and white stripes, is visually arresting. Multiple seating options dotting the bar at the centre, are available including cosy alcoves on the sides. The bar being the focal point, understandably, the bar menu is eclectic and carefully crafted. However, equal attention has been paid to the food offerings – Indian and global comfort food, which is high in quality and flavours, apart from being innovative.

I have started my day with soup

Charred tomato soup
There’s nothing more comforting than a heaping bowl of Creamy Charred Tomato Soup with crunchy Garlic Croutons And also with basil and Parmesan was amazing..

Crystal vegetable Dumplings
Crystal dumplings are a unique kind of dumpling as they look like crystals on the outside with colourful vegetables are mouthwatering..

Chicken Fungi Wine
Chicken and Mushrooms in a Garlic White Wine Sauce is a great-tasting With an amazing presentation.

Grilled Fish Fillets
Classic mustard marinated fillet of fish and cream cheese mousse with root vegetable rosti, chilly, onion jam was fabulous in taste.

Lotus Root Fritters
Thin slices of lotus roots are mixed with spices and rice flour and then deep fried until crisp. If that was not enough to get you hooked, they are served with a tangy Tamarind onion chutney. Mouth puckering, lip-smacking, finger-licking good chutney.

Last but not least the yummy desserts
Chocolate melting pyramid
This Chocolate pyramid filled with chocolate mousse and same served with cookie crumbles and hot fudge sauce was too chocolicious and yummy..

And the Staff is articulate and alert, and the service, efficient. Overall good ambience and nice place to enjoy your food and drinks.
So when are you making plans to head over to the newest Lord of the drinks.
