Kothamalli thokku

Handful of kothamalli leaves…washed n cleaned
2 spoons channa dhal…2 spoons urad dhal…10 red chillies. 2 to 3 bydagi chillies…….marble size tamarind soaked n taken thick juice… asafoetida pinch…salt required…little turmeric…
In a kadai…add a spoon on oil fry dhals, chillies …remove in a plate…same kadai add kothamalli leaves n fry…now grind nicely with salt…and tamarind water…
In a kadai add 50 to 75 ml oil…crack mustard seeds…add the ground paste…turmeric…asafoetida…and add remaining tamarind water…keep stirring occasionally…the oil will ooze out…keep sim and stir…till most of the oil oozees out…cool and store…
