1 cup basmati rice
coconut milk 1/2 cup
water 1 1/2 cup
onion small sliced length wise (onion optional)
turmeric 1/2tsp

2 bay leaves, 2 cloves, 2 elachi, 1 star anise, 1 piece of cinnamon stick, fennel seeds 2tsp, shahi jeera 1 tsp

veggies (beans, carrot , peas, potatoes and cauliflower)
green chillies 2 slit

few chopped corriander leaves and mint leaves
salt to taste

wash and soak basmati rice in water for 20 mins
In a heavy bottom vessel add oil once its hot add all whole garam masala, green chillies then onion, saute for a min, add chopped mint and corriander leaves with turmeric and saute for a min. now add chopped veggies and salt. let it cook for 2 to 3 mins. now add coconut milk and water. let it come to a boil and then add rice. once rice is 3/4 done cover with a lid and reduce to flame and cook for 15 mins. garnish with corriander leaves.
