MY wine tour in NASIK - SULA VINEYARDS

MY wine tour in NASIK – SULA VINEYARDS- winter with wine

The best example? Nashik — in Maharashtra state, about 100 miles northeast of Mumbai — which has emerged as the “Wine Capital of India” over the past decade.
“Nashik has a very rich history,” Rajeev Suresh Samant, CEO Sula Vineyards,
“It’s considered to be the place where the oceans were churned and some of the mythical nectar called somras (an intoxicating mixture made from the extract of som plants) dropped.
“That’s very apt, because today Nashik is the center of Indian wine production.”

Sula has become so popular now, that there is hardly anything more to add to its popularity now.i visited this place with my pinkathon ambassadors group.

Place is great – good view of vineyard and lake.obviously tuk many pictures doing so much masti.

Very well kept property. Ample parking space.we went for short tour and wine tasting.

Wine tasting was good, the presentor introduced all types of wine very well.

We got to taste 6 diff varieties of wine which resulted in me buying 1obottles of sula wine, as christmas is coming i want to gift my christian friends on the occasion of christmas .

The lake facing restaurant at first floor is awesome…Excellent view and good music.

You have lots of points inside the property where you can take lots of selfies too.obviously we took lot of selfies and lot of sula wine pictures also..

To accompany the wine, I ordered a platter of assorted cheeses, crackers, olives, nuts and dried fruit, and many things which we felt like tasting with wine.

Accommodations

Sula Vineyards offers OPTIONS  for visitors who want to stay nearby.
